Almost forgot about this place. Been coming here for a long time. It's not in my city but not too far away in Hacienda Heights. Great Japanese food and has not changed since I remembered it. It does get busy here. I had the combo meal. It was was delicious. My dad had the raw fish chidashi bowl which looked good and the fish was fresh & tasty. He enjoyed his meal. It came with 12 pieces of raw fish. It is on the pricey side but worth it. We will definitely be coming back. My children were small and remember this place & want to come here when they visit as well.
**They just need to be abit more attentive and check in on their tables. I could have used more hot water for my tea. A smile goes a long way! -
This place has been around ever since I was a child. They have plenty of bento options to choose from. What I ordered was the beef and chicken teriyaki combo, and I was satisfied with it. They were not stingy with the beef and chicken slices. Although the workers were not as attentive they were still nice and professional. They also seated us at a table with lots of room, which definitely made dinning here more comfortable.

This is been around since I was in high school but needs an update.
I know they took out the carpet and that's a good thing because it started to smell like feet and popcorn back in the '90s.
Portions have seemed to be slightly smaller than I remember but still a staple for Rowland heights. There's some New kids on the block which they need to compete with so I suggest they start competing.
I'm not sure if the owners changed but they need to get their stuff in order cuz not even half a mile away there are two or three places trying to take their customers.
I'll root for the "Lobby" because it's nostalgic and we go way back!!!
